Road Safety Week

Welcome to Road Safety Week!!

What a great start we've had to Road Safety Week! We started off with a 'Back to School' Campaign where our Travelwise team stood out on Dominion Road holding up signs that reminded road users that there are school children around and to slow down and look out for them.

Then we had a special visit from Max the Pukeko who reminded us about some different ways we can be safe on our roads and our Travelwise team informed us about some important tips on booster seats.

We look forward to seeing you all on Friday in your brightest coloured clothes- please don't forget to bring a gold coin donation. The PTA will be purchasing 2 booster seats in support of our themes this year.

Welcome to our Travelwise Blog!!

We are a team of 6 Year 4/5 girls who recently went to a Travelwise workshop.

We learnt lots about leadership, team work, safety on roads and blogging!

Next term we will be having a Road Safety Week and our theme is 'Buckle Up'.

We've been having meetings and we've started to put together a few ideas. Keep checking our blog for more details.
